Work Experience
Cynthia has enjoyed a fruitful professional career in physical therapy centered around orthopedics since 1984. As a physical therapist, Cynthia assisted the head trainer of the Canadian Olympic Track Team in 1984 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. She then took a job with Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill, South Carolina from 1985 to 1987. Following her tenure there, Cynthia traveled overseas for two years including one year in Australia where she volunteered her professional services with the Perth Wildcats of the National Basketball League in Perth, Australia and with Aquatic Therapy, Inc. in Melbourne, Australia.
In 1989, Cynthia moved to Charlotte, North Carolina, where she worked full-time for The Rehab Center while running a part-time massage therapy private practice. She then began working for Health South and remained there for the next 10 years on a part-time basis. Concurrently, Cynthia worked at Novant Health Services, from 1990 to 2005, on a part-time basis as well.
Cynthia opened an integrative physical therapy private practice in 2000 following her graduation from the Istituto di Formazione Feldenkrais. Since 2005, she has dedicated herself full-time to her private practice. In the third quarter of 2008, she relocated her practice to New York City, where she currently makes her home. |
